Turbid current is a phenomenon that occurs when a fluid with inferior density flows through another. When the density of a fluid is superior to its ambient fluid, underflow current occurs. The contact surface of these two fluids is unstable and this instability causes the ambient fluid to mix with the fluid which is moving through it. Plunging area is one of four areas of a turbid current where entrainment is at a maximum value. In this paper the properties of saline currents in curves was studied and reviewed. The results show that an increase in radius of curvature causes a decrease in centrifugal force which in curves causes an increase in velocity and intensity of entraining ambient water into dense water. Increasing the density of dense fluid causes a decline in intensity of entrainment. Due to the experiments, an equation is reached about entraining ambient water into dense water.
