In this paper, the effect of tandem spacing on FIM of two circular cylinders with PTC is investigated. FIMs present a source of challenge for diverse structures in steady flows such as heat exchangers, bridges, buildings or offshore structures. The most common FIM phenomenon is vortex-induced vibration (VIV). VIV and galloping are the most commonly occurring FIM and are performed in the VIVACE Converter mechanics along with interaction between shear layers and wakes of upstream cylinders. To achieve this goal, the harnessed power for upstream, downstream and synergy was extracted.Usually, the harnessed power in galloping region is increased with increasing in flow velocity. Unlike what was expected, drops and jumps in Power harness in the velocity range of 0.9<u<1.3m/s were observed in the galloping region. The objective of this paper is to find the reason for these changes and the relationship between the distances of two cylinders with changes in harnessed power. The results show that increase in distance between two tandem circular cylinders would change the flow pattern and drops and jumps as a result.
